Behind “Sunlit Enneagram”

Why “Sunlit”?

I wanted to name my business to reflect the warmth and safety I want people to feel when approaching me. The Enneagram can make people feel really vulnerable, especially when used to put people in boxes (e.g. “You’re such a Four!”). My hope is for us to develop mutual trust in each other, so that I can use the Enneagram as a tool to gently shine light on blind spots. The path to self-awareness and growth can be difficult, but it should also be nourishing and ultimately bring you closer to joy!

The Sunflower

I love the image of plants when it comes to the theme of growth. The sunflower in particular is a beautiful mirror image of the sun, with its large round center and bright yellow petals. The 9 petals represent the 9 different types on the Enneagram. I also love the image of my sunflower planted in a terra cotta pot, rooted in a healthy place.
